March 31st, 2022

Friends, Trinitas students, classmates…will be lending their ears! It will be election season when we return from break. Cambridge Latin students will be learning about ancient Roman politics, and the 7th and 8th graders will be preparing campaign speeches. Voting will take place on Wednesday, April 20—the day before Rome’s 2,775th birthday! While the results are never in doubt for this annual activity, it still holds plenty of surprise and excitement. And win or lose, there will be cake for all!

Virtue Update – FAITH

March 18th, 2022

Last week, we mentioned cultivating habits of stillness in order to grow the virtue of FAITH. How do our phones interfere with stillness? Some ideas to try during Lent: Pray or read scripture before turning your phone on in the morning. Don’t use your phone in the presence of others. Put it in a drawer for three hours at a time. Turn it off an hour or more before bedtime. Have a phone sabbath each week.

Coming Soon – Fine Arts Night

March 18th, 2022

We are excited to be planning our annual Fine Arts Night for Friday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m. Full-time students and homeschool music class partners will sing selections chosen by our music teacher, and student artwork will be on display. In addition, students are invited to perform individual or group pieces—e.g., recitation, vocal, instrumental, dance, drama, etc. Students may also submit original art, poetry, or short stories for display. An information sheet was sent home with your student. The due date for intent forms is Wednesday, April 13 (just after Spring Break). We’re looking forward to another great Fine Arts Night!
