5K/Fun Run School Challenge Registration Re-Opened!

April 24th, 2019 by Trinitas Classical

We just learned that Trinitas is in a three-way tie for 4th and 5th places in the Calvin 5K and Fun Run School Challenge sponsored by D&W Fresh Market. The challenge awards $350 gift cards to Village Bike & Fitness to five students, one from each of the five schools with the most registrants.

Registration for the School Challenge has been re-opened, so we have a chance to break that tie if more people sign up by 11:59 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, April 25. Team members do not need to attend Trinitas. They just need to sign up for our team. Please invite your friends or extended family and join the fun on Saturday morning!

Click here for more information and the link to register. You will be asked if you are participating in the D&W School Challenge towards the end of the registration process. Simply answer “Yes” and select “Trinitas” from the drop-down menu.

If we can claim a top five spot, one of our students will win a $350 Village Bike & Fitness gift card!

Helping Our Kids Safely Navigate the Digital Culture

April 18th, 2019 by Trinitas Classical

On Tuesday evening, a group from Trinitas attended a seminar hosted by Protect Young Eyes. They were all very impressed by presentation and the resources available on this organization’s website. If you are seeking age-appropriate materials to help you speak with your child about internet safety, suggestions for how to safeguard your devices, or reviews of popular apps, you will find all that and more at www.protectyoungeyes.com.

Happy Birthday, Rome!

April 18th, 2019 by Trinitas Classical

According to legend, Romulus founded Rome on April 21 in 753 BC. We will be wishing Rome a happy birthday on Monday, April 22. Students will sing and enjoy cake during lunch time. Please note the cake will not be allergen-free or safe for students who have food/dye sensitivities. While it will be free of nuts, it may be processed in a facility where nuts are present. Feel free to send an alternative treat that day if your child is unable to have the cake.
