Support Christian Classical Education!

November 17th, 2017 by Peter Marth

As is the case for most private schools, the cost of a child’s education at Trinitas exceeds tuition. Most schools raise funds by selling goods, products, or services door-to-door and to relatives. In our experience, the majority of people who would buy items or services from our children would give toward the good of their education without the added gimmicks. Our practice, then, has been to seek the support of Christian, classical education during one annual fund drive so as not to become a nuisance throughout the school year.

This year we have set a goal of $85,000 to cover operating expenses and make improvements to our new home. In the spirit of generosity, a friend of Trinitas has offered to match gifts postmarked by December 31, 2017, dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $30,000.

To keep tuition affordable and take advantage of the generous match, we ask that you prayerfully consider what you may be able to donate.

Trinitas accepts no taxpayer funding either directly or indirectly. Trinitas is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and your gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Thank you for partnering with us in the work of preparing students for lives well-lived!

p.s. If you shop for Christmas presents on Amazon, know that when you shop at, Amazon will make a donation to Trinitas Classical Association.

Trinitas is moving!

April 26th, 2017 by Peter Marth

When Trinitas finished its first year in 2006, the school was leasing four classrooms from a small urban church in Grand Rapids. Recess took place in a parking lot and gym in a basement. The office had room enough for a copier and one small table. After the school expanded through 8th grade and enrollment grew, Trinitas moved in to the Sunday School rooms of the church building it now occupies. Classrooms were larger and more numerous, and the campus included a playground and gym. Over time, the congregation’s youth and early childhood ministries have grown, and constraints within the existing space signal that the time has come for a move.

As Trinitas looks to the future, the school is working with St. Mark Lutheran Church to transition in to the classroom wing of its building. St. Mark Lutheran, located in Kentwood, has the space and amenities to accommodate a larger student body and classrooms which will offer students and teachers a dedicated learning environment. Look for an announcement about open houses in the months to come!

Making Re-Enrollment Easier

January 20th, 2017 by Peter Marth

Continuous or Automatic Re-Enrollment

Trinitas is moving to a continuous enrollment model that will simplify life for over 90% of its families.

This Year

This year, the re-enrollment process will look almost exactly the same as in past years. Parents will still receive and turn in forms with their deposits to the office. There will be one additional signature page, however, that will convert the re-enrollment process from “opt-in” to “opt-out” for future years. In other words, once parents sign a continuous enrollment form, they will never have to worry about another re-enrollment form as long as they aren’t changing their enrollment status. Parent Information Night – Parking and Directions

January 5th, 2017 by Peter Marth

March 7th, 7:00-8:30pm

Guests and their children are invited to meet the students, parents, and teachers of Trinitas and see why we’re so excited about Christian classical education. Join us on Tuesday, March 7th, at 7:00pm in the Chapel Hall of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

Click here to register for the event.

This evening event provides a succinct yet worthwhile introduction to classical Christian education and the Trinitas community. It is arguably also the single best opportunity to meet currently enrolled families and ask them about their experience.

Refreshments, nursery for young siblings, and activities for older children provided.

To enter the building near Chapel Hall, park in the church’s main lot, which is accessible from Maple Creek Ave SE (the 2nd street east of Kalamazoo), and use the main entrance to the building (see map). We will be there to greet you!
