Remind and Verizon: Known Issue and Solution

On Monday, we received word from Remind.com that Verizon Wireless customers will no longer be able to receive our text messages beginning January 28th. If you are a Verizon customer, you likely received the same message. Remind is currently promoting two free solutions, but neither of them are terribly user friendly, nor are they supported on all devices.

We value our ability to communicate with you immediately about emergencies and to send text messages about special events or significant changes to routine.

Remind has told us that they are working on yet another solution. If they are able to resolve the issue before the 28th, we will be very grateful. If Remind and Verizon do not remove this roadblock before the 28th, Trinitas will purchase a plan through Remind that will allow us to continue communicating with you via text message regardless of your wireless carrier. At this point, no action is needed on your part. We will send another update prior to the 28th with follow-up information.
