A Reflection To Begin the Year

September 7th, 2020

“When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.” Mark 6:34

What a fitting verse and image for us as we prepare to welcome students back to school tomorrow. As we anticipate the year ahead, all of us may be feeling a little like lost sheep. Praise God we are not without a shepherd! Ours is the Good Shepherd who knows each of us by name and has compassion on us. May we be secure in that love, open to all He has to teach us, and willing to love those around us.

Please know that the Trinitas staff and the prayer team are praying for you all. May you rest well tonight knowing to whom we each belong, and may tomorrow bring much joy to you and your children. We are excited to start this new school year and to continue the work of preparing students for lives well-lived.
