Math – 3rd grade will learn about fraction basics. 4th grade is working on a comprehensive review.
Grammar – We have been learning about double negatives in 3rd grade. In 4th, we are learning about superlatives.
Latin – We will study Ch. 29.
Bible– We are learning about the fiery furnace and the lions’ den.
Science – We learned about telegraphs. Our unit test will be on Thursday. We will review for the test in class.
Virtue of the Quarter – At the heart of the virtue of HUMILITY is a heart that seeks the good of others. We hope you are using our Humility Home Connection materials. You might also want to pray the words of St. Francis of Assisi together as a family this quarter:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.
