MONDAY: 

Prayer and Bible reading: Here are  Psalms and New Testament/Epistles that we use for morning prayer or use your own readings.   

Verse: We will complete Philippians 4:8.  

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 

CalendarYou will have to put in June pages into your calendar folder.  Did you tally the weather in May?  Record the date and weather for today.     

SSRW: This week I would like you to work through Lesson 10. The focus in these pages is words that begin with consonant blends.  Today please complete pages 60 and 61.  Choose a book from the bag of books I sent you and work on reading it this week.   

Math: Complete the worksheet we started in our Friday zoom.  It has a picture of pens at the top and says page 184 at the bottom.

Handwriting:  Warm up with a lesson at this website, Pencil Peteand watch a demo of the next letter you will be working on in your workbook.   Next, complete one more page in your workbook.   

Bible Story:  This week let’s read about the parable of the Prodigal Son, found in Luke 15:11-32.  Here is a video too.

SSRW:  Please complete pages 62 of Lesson 10.  Please follow the directions to complete the sight word page “you”.   

Math: Complete the page Star Power.  Notice how we can write number sentences horizontal (side to side) and vertical (up and down).  Here is a 120’s chart mystery picture.

Science: Read here to see how you might want to do a monarch caterpillar project this summer.   

Zoom meeting: We will read over phonics page 63 together and say our verse for one last time.  Show & Tell: a favorite summer activity.   

Materials drop off: Details to come for how exactly this will take place.  Please be ready to return the phonics readers (each family received different ones).  I would love to look over math and phonics worksheets if you would like to drop those off too.  I will have any items that belong to your child from the classroom ready to give to you.
