Donuts with Dad is a favorite fall tradition at Trinitas! We hope dads (or VIPs) can join us on the morning of Wednesday, September 30, from 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., for drinks, donuts, and fellowship. Please note that this event will be held outdoors. Dress for the weather, and if you’d like to sit while eating and drinking, bring blankets or camp chairs. If your child is a big breakfast eater, please think like a Hobbit and treat this as “second breakfast”. Following donut time, dads and VIPs are welcome to stay for a special outdoor Morning Prayer at 8:15 a.m.
As with any outdoor event, the weather may alter our plans. Please watch for any necessary updates as the day approaches.
Additional important details:
Upon arrival, please park on the “lower level” and away from the building, leaving parking spaces nearest the building open for parents with preschoolers or other young children.
Students should first bring their belongings inside the building and leave them across from their lockers. They can then join the dads and VIPs outside for goodies.
Students should be supervised by their guests away from the parking lot. Once finished with their goodies, students may: 1) stay with their guests, 2) play on the playground with their guest’s supervision, or 3) be supervised by their teacher. While playing on the playground, students should maintain the K-4 and 5-8 cohorting boundaries followed at recess.
At 8:15 a.m., students will join their classes for an outdoor Moring Prayer. Dads and VIPs are welcome to stay. Morning Prayer will conclude around 8:30 a.m.
