Book Character Day

Book Character Day will be held on Wednesday, March 3, the same week as Thoughtful Reader (which will be held on March 5). Students may come to school dressed as a Biblical, historical, or literary (classic or modern) character. They will present clues about their characters to their classmates during a break. It is a fun-filled day, and the students come home eager to read new books. Character ideas must be submitted to the classroom teacher for approval. They can be from movies so long as the movie was originally a book.

N.B. When writing their clues or talking about their characters, students should refrain from sharing plot “spoilers” with those who have not yet read some of the books.
