Spelling Bee

Students should be preparing for the Spelling Bee, which will be held on Monday, January 15th. The word lists for Gr. 1-8 are available in the classroom newsletters. Homeschool partnership students in Gr. 1-8 are encouraged to participate (Kindergarten will not have an official spelling bee). Students do NOT have to wear dress uniform for this event. All grades will begin after Morning Prayer at roughly 8:20. Grades 1-3 will compete in a single elimination round in their classrooms until a winner can be declared. Grades 4-8 will compete according to the rules of the National Spelling Bee. The winner and runner-up from this age group will move on to the Regional Spelling Bee.
