Thoughtful Reader

Thoughtful Reader Book Club (TR) is open to all students in grades K-8. The purpose of the club is to encourage students to read, discuss, and enjoy good literature. Students set a reading goal and record the books they read. They may read on their own, with a parent or sibling, or some combination of these. Members of the club also read the club’s selected title(s) and meet for a lively activity and/or discussion.

11:00 – 11:35 a.m. – The Cricket in Times Square and A Wrinkle in Time (5th/6th) discussions

1:15 – 2:00 p.m. – Book activities for grades K-2

2:10 – 2:55 p.m. – A Wrinkle in Time (7th/8th) discussion
