All the signs of spring are now here, including poison ivy and wood ticks in the areas around the retention ponds. If you allow your child(ren) to play in that area after school, please conduct a regular tick check and educate your child(ren) so that they know how to identify and avoid poison ivy and how to identify and dispose of ticks.
