Our Mission

Trinitas Classical School joins with parents to provide the very best in Christian classical education—teaching students to discover, discern, and desire truth; nurturing mind, body, and spirit within an ecumenical Christian community.

Trinitas enrolls full-time students and part-time homeschool partners in grades K-8.  

News & Events

  • Ludi Occidentales

  • Congratulations to all the participants in the Ludi Occidentales at East Kentwood! The students entered the arena behind a Trinitas banner which bears in Latin some of the key words from our school verse, Philippians 4:8. There they valiantly joined the competition against several high schools. One of the seventh graders took first place with his Latin poster on Roman Culture, and two students became recruits in the Roman army and learned how to march and fight. The students’ Latin play, Fabula Troiani Belli, won a second place medal!

  • Speech Meet Winners

  • Thank you to those who supported our students at the annual Speech Meet! Congratulations to all of the students who participated. Special recognition goes to Cassie B. (first place), Anna V. (second place), and Grace P. (third place) for their success in the all school round. Additional finalists who competed in the second round were Sonja D., Brennan L., Anna H., Benjamin M., and Benjamin S. The annual speech meet is one of many opportunities for students to practice some of the skills necessary for becoming comfortable and articulate in front of an audience. Selections come from poetry, ecclesiastical sources (scriptural, liturgical, patristic, etc.), political speeches, fables, and, for Kindergarteners, nursery rhymes. 

  • Gr. 5-8 Homeschool P.E. Option

  • Homeschooling families with students in Gr. 5-8 have the option to enroll in the Friday afternoon PE class, which immediately follows the HSP Science classes for 5-6 and 7-8. The Friday PE class focuses on team games like soccer, floor hockey, basketball (acquaintance with rules, development of skill, etc.). 

  • Chess Club

  • Chess Club meets on Fridays after school during the months of November and December. Trinitas students in grades 3-8 are welcome to attend; younger students need to be accompanied by an adult. All levels of skill and experience welcome. Everyone will learn! 

  • Applications for Employment

  • In anticipation of future growth, Trinitas Classical School is accepting applications for instructional and administrative employment.  If you are interested in joining the community of Trinitas faculty and staff, please email info@trinitasclassical.org to request an application and return it with the necessary supporting documents.  We wish to thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, we will contact only those to whom we will offer an interview.
