The transition to a new routine in a new classroom is significant for both students and parents. Parents of current 4th and 6th graders are invited to join Mr. Marth in a conversation about what those classroom transitions involve and how the school seeks to help families in the process.
Full-time students and homeschool music class partners will sing selections chosen by our music teacher, and student artwork will be on display. In addition, students are invited to perform individual or group pieces-e.g., recitation, vocal, instrumental, dance, drama, etc. Students may also submit original art, poetry, or short stories for display.
Students will have testing the week of May 13. Please note that different classes have different test schedules. Kindergarten: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Grades 1-2: Monday-Friday Grades 3-8: Tuesday-Thursday
Moms are invited for muffins, coffee, tea, and juice on the afternoon of Friday, May 17. Fellowship time will begin at 2:00 p.m. Students will join them at 2:30 until dismissal time.
Pastor Eric Schalk from Fourth Reformed Church will be speaking about loyalty, the virtue of the month for May.
Students in grades K, 2, and 4 will have hearing testing, and grades 1, 3, 5, and 7 will have vision testing. Homeschool partners who want to be tested should arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.
Please join us in Chapel Hall for our Reader's Theater production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Our 7th/8th class will help with various improvement projects (painting, cleaning, and yard maintenance) at the end of the day. They should bring appropriate work apparel. Please keep safety, respect, and modesty in mind.
