Book Character Day – So Many Characters!

March 4th, 2022

Peter Pan, Princess Buttercup, Mary Poppins, Sherlock Holmes, Frog and Toad. These characters – and many more! – appeared in school on Wednesday. We thank the students for their enthusiasm and creativity. We hope everyone went home wanting to read more books!

Parent-Teacher Conferences – March 28-31

Please contact your child’s teacher directly if you wish to meet for a parent-teacher conference during the week of March 28. While spring semester conferences are optional, a teacher may request that one be scheduled.


Virtue Update – FAITH

FAITH takes time. Children learn what is important by how we spend our time. During this season of Lent, how can we carve out more time for expressions of faith in the rhythms of each day and each week?


Kindergarten Round-Up

March 4th, 2022

We are excited to invite our incoming kindergarteners to Kindergarten Round Up! Please join us on Tuesday, March 22, from 12:45-2:45 p.m. The afternoon will include student assessments, a parent meeting with Mr. Marth, and a chance for everyone to meet new friends.

N.B. Kindergarten Round-Up is for families that have applied for 2022-2023 Kindergarten enrollment. Please contact the office if you have questions.


Parent Information Night Next Thursday

March 4th, 2022

If you are interested in providing refreshments for Parent Information Night (PIN) next Thursday, March 10, please sign up using the link in the school newsletter.

The office has been in contact with individual families about PIN participation. Students who are participating that night should arrive in dress uniform by 6:15 p.m.

Our marketing efforts won’t stop after PIN. If you haven’t stopped by the office for a Trinitas bumper sticker and/or yard sign, please do so! We also encourage you to wear your Trinitas shirts and sweatshirts when you go out and about. “Classical Ed” can be a great conversation starter!


Family Game Night Tonight!

March 4th, 2022

It’s not too late to schedule a Chick-fil-A delivery for the Game Night tonight. At this point, the best way to place an order is to use the app for delivery. Set the address to the school (1934 52nd St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508) with a drop-off at 5:45 p.m.

Children should wear gym shoes to Game Night. If grown-ups want to participate in dodgeball, they should also wear sneakers/tennis shoes.


HIS Dance Ensemble presents RED

March 3rd, 2022

A lost girl, a devious wolf, and a path that leads in the wrong direction … who will save Red? Tickets are available for 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. performances on March 12 at The Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Arts and Worship. 2022-2023 FACTS Tuition Deposits in March

February 25th, 2022

Families enrolled in FACTS Tuition Management will have their 10% tuition deposits for the upcoming school year drawn in March. There will be no payments for the current school year drawn in March. Please log on to your FACTS account to verify the payment schedule and contact Mrs. Beach with any questions or changes.


CCE Corner – The Virtue of Faith

Our virtue focus for the third quarter is Faith. In the next few CCE Corner posts, we will talk about the importance of passing our faith on to our children and ways to do that well. If you missed it earlier this fall, now would be a good time to read this introduction to the virtue of Faith.
