As the weather warms up, the playground gets muddier! An extra set of clothes in the locker (including underwear and socks) is very helpful for if your child falls into a mud puddle or has some other mishap at recess. Rain or snow boots at recess are also very helpful.

Our field trip to the Kent County Recycling Center is this Friday. We will leave at 12:30 and return by 2:30. We will be sharing two songs from music class and two songs from our classroom with grandparents and special guests on Wednesday. Dismissal is at 11:35am.
Please mark your calendars for our field trip on Friday Oct. 22 to Calvin Nature Center. Students will leave after lunch at noon, and return to school by 2:50. Parents are welcome to join us! Let me know if you would like to help drive; there is paperwork that will need to go to the office if you are driving more than your own child.
